Living in Alabama

Nurses working in Alabama enjoy their time away from work participating in the many available outdoor activities that are such a way of life in Alabama. The coastal communities on the Gulf of Mexico with their beautiful white sand beaches and clear blue water are very popular. Most beach destinations are only about a five hour drive from the northernmost part of the state. The state is dotted with state parks, beautiful lakes, and rivers for the boating, skiing and fishing enthusiasts.

Popular points of interest include the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, which played a large role in the NASA Space Program. The State Capitol Building in Montgomery is also a notable historic day trip, as well. The top tourist attraction in the state is the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail which boasts 26 golf courses in 11 locations across the state.
